Summer 2017: West Highland Way
In the summer of 2017, I worked as a monitor for a group of kids, and we hiked the West Highland Way in Scotland. It was about a week of walking through a mix of landscapes—lochs, hills, forests, and small villages. The weather changed constantly, so we were often wet and muddy. We camped along the way, cooked simple meals, and dealt with the usual minor issues like blisters and lost items. It was a tiring but memorable experience!
