- HRS 2026 Chicago, USA: I presented our recently published research on smart, automated optogenetic arrhythmia termination in cardiac monolayers.
- Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics: I was a KITP Scientist for one month as part of the "Multi-Scale Physics of Normal and Diseased Heart: from Ion Channels to Whole Organ" program.
- Started Marie Skłodowska-Curie PF: My proposal named SASQUATCH (Searching for Arrhythmia Solutions through Quantification and Analysis of Transient CHaos) started.

Beating a formula 1 racer in reaction time to treat arrhythmias using a newly developed closed loop system
- Heart Rhythm 2026: A new protein (ERBB4) was found that targets the structural underlying problem of cardiac arrhythmias.
- Atypical oscillations 2026: A peculiar phenomenon in cardiac tissue is both experimentally, computationally and theoretically shown.
- Sci Rep Editorial 2025: When it comes to heart health, the secret lies in the interactions, not just the parts.

- 2022 Trekking Peru: My first South-American experience walking the Salkantay Trek to the world-famous Machu Picchu.
- Restaurant Rebranding: Very proud to have been the brand designer for a Korean restaurant in the Netherlands.
