Went to my Alma Mater City of Leuven to attend the 50th anniversary meeting of this working group of cardiac cellular electrophysiology.
I presented our recently published research on smart, automated optogenetic arrhythmia termination in cardiac monolayers.
I will be a KITP Scientist for one month as part of the "Multi-Scale Physics of Normal and Diseased Heart: from Ion Channels to Whole Organ" program.
- Leiden → Göttingen: I moved to Göttingen, a beautiful small city in the middle of Germany. The institute of my MSCA PF grant is the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organisation.
- Started Marie Skłodowska-Curie PF: My proposal named SASQUATCH (Searching for Arrhythmia Solutions through Quantification and Analysis of Transient CHaos) started.
- Dynamics Days Europe 2025 Invited Talk: I presented my latest non-linear dynamics research in cardiology and its link to feedback loops in engineering.

- Trapped Reentry 2024: A thorough computational and experimental analysis of a surprising similarity between volcanoes and arrhythmias.

- 2024 Caving Vietnam: Went for 3 days of caving in the largest cave system in the world, located in Vietnam. Phenomenal!
- 2022 Trekking Peru: My first South-American experience walking the Salkantay Trek to the world-famous Machu Picchu.
- Restaurant Rebranding: Very proud to have been the brand designer for a Korean restaurant in the Netherlands.
