I presented our recently published research on smart, automated optogenetic arrhythmia termination in cardiac monolayers.
I will be a KITP Scientist for one month as part of the "Multi-Scale Physics of Normal and Diseased Heart: from Ion Channels to Whole Organ" program.
I moved to Göttingen, a beautiful small city in the middle of Germany. The institute of my MSCA PF grant is the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organisation.
- Started Marie Skłodowska-Curie PF: My proposal named SASQUATCH (Searching for Arrhythmia Solutions through Quantification and Analysis of Transient CHaos) started.
- Dynamics Days Europe 2025 Invited Talk: I presented my latest non-linear dynamics research in cardiology and its link to feedback loops in engineering.
- TEKNOWLOGY 2025 Innovation Market: We presented an interactive demo about heart rhythm disorders and the initiation and termination of spiral waves from cells to organs.

- Mathematics of wave phenomena mini-symposium: This interdisciplinary get-together was organized by me to strengthen the bonds between mathematics and medicine.
- Master/Bachelor students: Daily supervisor of several biophysical and biomedical projects related to cardiology
- Seminar: Gave a seminar at the mathematics department linking biology of the heart to dynamical systems
Mini get-away to the second largest city of Greece and the capital of ancient Macedonia
Went for 3 days of caving in the largest cave system in the world, located in Vietnam. Phenomenal!
