Loss of voltage-gating sharpness as a dynamical mechanism for EADs and repolarization instability
The conference:
The aim of waveNED is to bring together mathematicians working on wave phenomena across a wide range of physical contexts. Ranging from acoustic to water and heart waves.
In Delft there was this year the first edition of WaveNED, a conference bringing together scientists from mostly the Netherlands to discuss all kinds of waves and their applications from a mathematical perspective. I was invited to present during the "nonlinear cardiac waves" mini-symposium, where I showcased the recent work Martina Chirilus-Bruckner (one of the organisers of the mni-symposium) and I have performed with regards to EADs.
