The conference:
The 50th Annual Meeting of the ESC Working Group on Cardiac Cellular Electrophysiology (EWGCCE) gathers young researchers and high-level international experts in cardiac cells and provides an overview of topical issues in signalling, ion channels, arrhythmias, models and techniques at experimental and clinical level.
The 50th anniversary of the European Working Group on Cellular Cardiac Electrophysiology took place in my University City of Leuven. It was a long time since I had been there, so I was happy to be back for a few days. During this time, I was able to meet former colleagues, present my poster on the latest work I have been doing, and meet professor Noble from Oxford. As one of the founders of computational electrophysiological modelling, this was quite a unique opportunity for me to meet him in person.
